Okay, you have got your PC or laptop and it is not doing what you want it to! Tech guys cost an arm and a leg and your pal would help, but you don’t want to impose. I will charge, but nothing like some others might and if I can’t help I will tell you so and there will be no charge. (See services page for more info)

IT Training. Sleaford and surrounding area.

With just a couple of hours of help most people can happily work their PC. Training courses can run into hundreds of pounds per day and the "free" ones only tend to cover getting started. My charges will be the same as for support, no matter how advanced the training required. (See services page for more info)

Low cost Web Design and Web Hosting.

This is mainly aimed at small businesses. If you have the time to do it yourself then see training on services page. If not then the idea is to offer to set up an effective website for a very small and competitive fixed fee. I do not intend to compete with high end web designers there are lots of folks out there doing that for some extraordinary sums of money! (See services page for more info)

Having recently retired afeter thirty years of teaching (the last ten being ICT “A” level), rather than stop work completely and having developed a wide range of ICT related skills I have set up a very small IT business. The object of the exercise is not to make serious amounts of money, but enough to justify the effort! The general idea is to set-up hardware and install software in the Sleaford and surrounding area, (South Lincolnshire) at a very competitive rate, offer training and support for users (again in my local area) and set up and manage small websites for any business for a small set fee.
